Hi. Yeah it happens. But I believe as far as you noticed opponents are all the same. So basically I would suggest you to go to NL5, or buy in for NL10 short And reconsider your marginal hands play. GL |

Ended tonight with 84.06 Tonight was very interesting. After about 2 hrs of grinding, i go up and down and end at about 2 dollars. I am about to leave, but another player joins my table full stacked. He says he will go all in every hand preflop, and tell us what he has. I thought he was joking, but he showed after every hand, and never lied. So the next hand, he tell us he has 2T, and i have AT , so i call his all in. Flop comes 2XXXX, and i lose my 10 dollar stack. He says he feels bad, and so the next hand, we arrange for him to push enough, but leave me 1 cent behind. i do this, and then i bet this on the flop, and he folds. We do this again one more hand, and he puts me up a couple dollars. He said he would give everyone at the table 10 dollars to help his karma, but he decided to stop because he didn't want to drop below a 50,000 roll. Hmm, i wrote that pretty quickly, and i don't know if it makes any sense, but it sure made my night more exciting. |

After like 2 thousand hands of hovering between 80-90, i finally had a couple good sessions, and ended at 105.49. I've been coolered and lost a lot of races, but fortunately I'm still up. Its a shame I won't be able to play as much poker (or none at all) once school starts. Oh well, i guess education is +EV compared to playing micro stakes poker. |

Damm straight an education is +EV. It doesn't mean you cant play poker though. I work full time and have 3 kids and still get to play. Its just a lot less than most of the folk who play here. If I can get 1-2 hrs in a day (3-tables) I am happy. Gives me my poker fix that I need |

I most likely won't have any time to play during the weekdays, but hopefully i can squeeze in an hour or two on the weekends and continue to build my BR. I move into my dorm this week, and I am very excited. I guess i'll have to get use to my roommates saying things like, "Dude online poker is rigged. I lost with AA to 87 once." Sigh, I better get a 4.0 this quarter. :[. Well for what its worth, My br is at an all time high: 112.93$ |

I am a bit excited, and will play my first long day of grinding tomorrow. Hopefully, my BR will be up to about 150 tomorrow. Well wish me luck. |

Be careful about this stuff. It's great how a guy can come in and shove random stuff into you but arranging it over chat violates many card rooms terms of service as open collusion. Recently ex progamer and pro pokerplayer ElkY placed high in a WCOOP rebuy event on PS. His tournament score was revoked (~15k or so?) because it was proven that during the rebuy period he had arranged to shove all in with another player before the cards were dealt (this is incredibly +ev for good tournament players to do). I'd imagine the same would apply to cash games. :S And gl at cardspike, Trikkur also set me up there last week or so and I'm 100% satisfied thus far. Plus the fact that I've doubled my roll already there has me thinking positive. To infinity, and beyond! Last edited by Shenny; 10-23-2008 at 01:50 PM. |
