oh and if you are just starting off with a really small Br such as $5 or so i recommend the Double./nothings on pokerstars. When i first learned the proper strategy for these i won 15 in a row
The DoN's on Stars are great bankroll builders, but keep in mind that the strategy is quite different from the normal SNG. 15 in a row is a great run, as you move into the higher buy-in DoN's it's more realistic to expect 3/5 results.

If you're used to playing SNG Satellites you'll find it pretty easy to jump right into the DoN's.

When i was building my roll on stars (25 -> 100) I was playing the DONs like crazy. I would play in sets of 12 mainly because its easier since they will all be on nearly the same level. I would win about 8/12 and it really helped build my roll. The only problem with these are that they FREAKEN BORING. Sometimes you can just win one good hand and then fold your way to the money. People play so badly on the bubble sometimes its amazing.

Yeah it is the most monotonous form of poker possible.
But i guess that is what makes it so easy to dominate. Fish love to swim..

This was in our donkfest game last night. The QQ vs A3 hand was typical Trikkur style of sucking out +500bb pots

Havent been able to play much because of school, but i thought i might as well update here.

After about 15,000 hands of crazy swings, i finally got +. I am now at $618.14. Hopefully once finals end , i can put in more hands, and hopefully be sufficiently rolled for 50 nl by the new year.
