You're on the button with AcTc and you said you would be 3betting the cutoff raiser if he were deeper stacked (200NL table with a $98 stack preflop).
Board was Ad 3c 7c ... He donked out and you just shoved... The guy folded A8o and you said you accomplished something you didn't want to.. You obviously made him fold a weaker ace.
But... You said this
Quote:
I'd also get it in on draws not top pair...
I'm shoving any flush draw there... I don't know if I would shove a gutshot because he's shortstacked.... If it was a 3bet pot or something I'd be shoving a gutshots.

Is that pretty much any situation where you're 3betting? (and you'd only be 3betting people preflop who have deep stacks)... You said you'd shove 45 in that spot if he were deeper and it were a 3bet pot, but you wouldn't there only because he was short... THAT PART MAKES SENSE... But....
The way you said it it sounded like you were wanting to get it in on purely the gutshot and not having a flushdraw if it were a 3bet pot... Why is that? Is that gutshot draw shove a +EV play when IP in a 3bet? It seems like if you
do get a call you'd be so freaking far behind and you're looking to suck it out. Am I misunderstanding what you were trying to say?
Is your fold equity there just extremely high there?
Thanks in Advance Trikk.
