Default Thank You Jon Stephens/Trikkur

I know other people have made similar threads but I just wanted to make my own to tell you how much I appreciate what you are doing and how thankful I am... After hours and hours and weeks and months of frustration of losing bankrolls playing on PokerStars i gave up... and then I found your website... I watched every single one of your videos... all 36 of them in a row... it took me two weeks straight .

After I was done all of the videos i decided to start over with the $60 i had left from my $600 original deposit and try again and keep in mind everything I had learned... I started 6-tabling 2NL I was crushing the limit instantly... so I decided to try 12-tabling ... i re-built my bankroll from scratch... i have just moved to 5NL and still crushing it... I am almost at $200 and I am going to take another crack at 10NL when i get there.

If it wasn't for you I would have never learned what I was doing wrong and how to plug my leaks. Hopefully in the next month I can build a significant bankroll and afford private coaching so I can pay you back for everything you have done for me personally and the poker community.

Thanks,
-Jeremy

Gotta agree with everything said here. I had just started and were breakeven at best, before watching a few pokertrikz videos. After seeing those, I began really interested in learning poker in general. Now, after a few (4?) months later, I am winner in NL20 (probably NL50 too, not enough sample size tho) and PLO20 6max, and HU NL50. The only game of those I've learned from here, is 6max NL, but it really taught me how to "think poker" and made it easy to win in other (microstakes) poker forms too.

You should really work your way up to NL50 or so, before considering coaching. Of course if you want to learn faster and you don't mind using your roll for coaching, go for it.

I completely agree with you... that is what I meant by significant bankroll... I was thinking when i got up to 100NL or 200NL... that way i can afford maybe a few hour long coaching sessions... and at that point hopefully I will have enough experience being a winning player where i can use Trikkur to help me refine my game and increase my EV and winrate as opposed to getting him to help me learn the basics.

He's the one teaching the art of herocalls (at least in microstakes videos Trikkur doesn't really do them) so in fact we should be thanking him rather than Trikkur!

No... no lack of love for loltrickedu or any other video contributors... I just watched Trikkur's videos first and haven't had a chance to watch other videos yet which I am starting today... and they look like a great next step to Trikkur's videos... I'm really looking forward to loltrickedu's moving through the limits series.
