stoxpoker vids: need advice

Hey guys,

thx to Chinz, I'm enjoying free subscription to stoxpoker atm, two things I'd like to see comments on:

1) strange thing, I can stream vids, can download, but all downloaded cannot be played (not a codec/crappy connection problems). Is it supposed to be for free subscription? Like you can watch online but when downloading they "damage" vids for some reason... strange

2) please recommend coaches/vids that are most worthy to see 1st. NL50/100 preferrable, 6max NL Holdem

1) you need to be connected to the internet as they verify your account before you can play the video = DRM

2) I dont like the coaches at Stoxpoker but I guess Leatherass would be a good choise

1. Tried while connected&logged in, same thing - all players say like "can't open file" or "can't render file"... Any clues? Might be the firewall is blocking? Though it usually asks me to approve connection attempt...
Anyway, for me the whole idea of downloading is to watch the vid while offline, otherwise I don't see any benefits, same as streaming

2. I know leatherass, and pokey - that's it atm

Is it possible to get the same kind of free membership at DC? I mean I'm playing at FTP, earning certain amount of points, and getting a membership for certain period of time?

No, they don't offer it. I have DC, contact me if you want to do a video swap or something.

Ed Millers classroom videos are pretty good.

Pokeys videos especially for the core basics.

mbolt1's videos are ok.

If you play limit, obv the bryce is god. lol so is stoxtrader

fwiw, if someone has access to Stoxpoker I'd recommend new vids of James Ackerman (jballer88), who is now a new coach there. The vids are truly awesome!
