Default **OFFICIAL** FTP won't give rakeback thread

I used to play on FullTilt for a while back in '06. I had someone tell me a code to use and I just used it... it was 'FIRST600'.

I played a bit then cashed out. Well now playing a bit more poker and would like a site with rakeback. Ideally I'd like to get on FTP. They allow a PT3 HUD and have a large table selection, plus 27% isn't bad.

I asked if I could receive RB and I got this...

Quote:
Hello Tim,

Thanks for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

You?ve asked about the possibility of receiving rakeback but at this time, Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players.

There are a number of affiliate companies which offer rakeback if players sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their website. However, it appears that you were referred to Full Tilt Poker from an affiliate which does not offer rakeback. We are unable to switch your account from this affiliate to another, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits this.

We understand that you are interested in such promotions in the future and if the situation changes, our players will be the first to know and we will contact you when we have more news.

Regards,
Then this

Most of our affiliates own a website and have our banner advertised. If a potential player clicks on this banner, they are taken to the Full Tilt poker sign-up page and are automatically tracked to the affiliate.

Unfortunately due to our privacy policy, I cannot disclose more information. What I can say is that Full Tilt Poker has relationships with various non-rakeback affiliates, and they receive commission on all real money players they send to Full Tilt Poker.

If you signed up to Full Tilt Poker using the Refer A Friend program your affiliation would be Refer A Friend.

We are unable to switch your account from this affiliate to another, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits this.

Having said that, a referral code you used when creating your Full Tilt Poker account is ''FIRST600''.

We understand that you are interested in such promotions in the future and if the situation changes, our players will be the first to know and we will contact you when we have more news.
I e-mailed EveryPoker about the code I used....

CPA tracker means that Full Tilt paid us a lump sum once for referring you. They do not pay us anymore for your play.

There is nothing we can do to help you get rakeback at Full Tilt Poker.
So e-mailing my affiliate for RB hasn't worked either... Is there an option I haven't considered here? Are there any of you guys in my boat?

Thanks in advance!

This, unfortunately, is very standard and there is nothing you can do to "fix" it or change it.

Does your wife play poker?

I'm in the same boat. I signed up to FTP through another affiliate many years ago, when I had no clue what rakeback was. Fortunately, I'm happy at the site I'm on now, and I never had success at FTP anyway. But if I really wanted to get back on there, my first idea would be in the same vein as MX's.

be very careful about opening accounts in someone elses name.

Worst Case Scenario: funds in account 2 get frozen and you lose your deposit + Rakeback

I'm sorta in the same position as I created an account years ago through the main site, and getting the runaround regarding rakeback there too (not giving them another red cent until i get an answer one way or the other)

Unfortunately I have the same problem, same email, etc.... Thinking about taking all the deposit out and not playing for a few months.

They can't just seize funds like that. If you trust the person who's name you are using, there shouldn't be any problems.

The downside is that the account isn't in your name. It all comes down to trust.
