Default Making RB account to FTP

Hi...

I am not 100% certain, but I think I have made a FTP account some years ago (at least I've never deposited anything there) and now I'd like to play all my HUs on FTP because the rake is smaller...

The problem is, I'd need both my ID and email to reset my passwords, and I have no idea what the ID could be. Can I make a new account and get a rakeback deal eg. thru pokertrikz?

Yes, I know I am not allowed just to make one... but I was wondering if PokerTrikz/Trikkur could ask if it's OK.

Yeah, probably not... But some people have gotten RB deal afterwards to FTP afaik...

I have 45% rakeback to iPoker and 50% rakeback to OnGame, but they both have $1 rake cap. FTP has $0.5 rake cap, so with 27% rakeback that's better for me, if I'm moving to NL100 HU, which i'm planning (first shots) to in next few weeks.

Sucks, I have the same problem. You could try Absolute poker. They have .50 cap and 30% RB.

If you want to support them that is.

Unfortunately FTP does not allow ANY affiliates to transfer ftp accounts over to rakeback. We are allowed under 2 very very very constraining conditions.

- That player is not attached to another affiliate
- That player has not ever played for a real money game. This also includes winning a freeroll and playing with that money, nor with money you have deposited.

They have started up their own system where players can request to be added to the list. I believe you can just e-mail their support. They seem to randomly put people on the list over to rakeback.

If this is your situation, I would e-mail them to see if you can get rakeback. Then in the meantime play at somewhere you can get it.

There's quite a few offers on PokerTrikz if you want to browse around. Honestly, I preferred Cake Poker from when I first chose it while playing. I wanted to get the sign up bonus (which they just recently increased to $600) and 33% rakeback. I loved the site and just stayed there grinding. I know a lot of other members have liked it as well. A few other regular forum people have said Absolute Poker is pretty sweet as well. You get 30% there, but you should read up on the cheating scandal first. It is your decision whether you think it's cool to still play there.

Hopefully FTP will finally switch you over and then you can make your decision to stay on the new site or go back to FTP.

If they ever change this policy, I'll hear about it ASAP and let you guys know. It's not looking likely though.

I think the bigger problem here is that he can't even get into his original acct, so is he stuck to never play there irregardless of the rakeback???

I think that I would try and create a new account. If you have never deposited, you can claim you forgot (and it sounds like you aren't sure anyhow).

Just make sure that if you have FT installed on your pc that you remove the software and clear your cookies and then redownload from Trikz. Worst that can happen is they tell you that you already have an acct.

Yeah, I have never played any real money games there, that I am sure of. However the problem is I don't know my account name (or if it already has RB, that's not 100% impossible either), I am trying to contact support for that.
