So I've been playing poker online for almost a year now and exclusively on Pokerstars just because it was the one I heard about most when I made my first deposit. I've already collected my deposit bonus and now I feel like I would build my bankroll faster if I used a site that had a rakeback program. I usually play 10 or 25 nl and 4 table about 10-15 hours per week. I'm mainly trying to build my bankroll so I can move up to higher limits. Would I be an idiot to continue playing on PS? Can anyone recommend a site? What are the major differences between them? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Are you American? Ipoker has a sweet 30% rakeback deal if you're not. For Americans, bodog and sportsbook poker are the best choice. The games are ulta-soft and you can get rakeback and a deposit bonus on bodog. Full Tilt Poker has rakeback and a deposit bonus as well, but the games aren't as good (they're still very good) and the customer support is TERRIbLE. |

Anyway, anyone saying that FTP games are not good is just playin crazy. They are like 100x better than at iPoker and you have a lot of tables to table select. I agree with their support tho, have contacted them 2 times (with very simple requests) and it took them ages to answer.

I play on Full Tilt and like it pretty good. I liked Stars better but rakeback is da bomb. Definitely go anywhere that offers rakeback. It's huge. But after Poker Stars, I like Full Tilt best. I've also played Cake. The software/graphics etc just aren't on the same level as PS or FT. I think PS and FT are the industry leaders. As far as fishy games, at the micros, I'm sure it's the same crazy players everywhere. |
