Thumbs up loltrickedu's Coaching Review

I've been playing poker for 5+ years now. I've shown great success, and great failure. I can be winning and running hot for a month and then lose my entire BR in a week. I'm a Card Runners member and watch tons of the instructional videos. They can give you great tips here and there but it just wasn't too personal. I finally came to realize that I have leaks in my game, so I searched for help.

loltrickedu's coaching was exactly what I needed. My problem was that I'm not that consistent. He taught me plays I lacked in my game which helped me increase my profit, where I wouldn't ever have if he didn't coach me. I also learned plenty of new things from him aside from what I already learned through CR. Steve goes through different topics with great detail as the situation came. He also gave me great insight into what he was thinking as we were playing through the hand and different variations of play. Overall he did a spectacular job in articulating his thoughts and I will definitely do more sessions with him. Thank you Steve!

How many sessions did you do? What did the sessions consist of? You sweating him? Him sweating you? Video exchange? PT/HEM review? Was he also available through IM or e-mail or something to discuss hands outside of your coaching sessions?

I'm trying to decide on whether to get a coach. I'm not sure that I play enough--60k hands over the past 4 months (I have a full-time job)--to get enough out of it for it to be worth my while.

This si where I am struggling with this. I know that long term, a coach will allow me to move up at a faster rate than I can do on my own, but the funds just quite aren't there yet to support it.

I had a 5 block session with him and it consisted of him sweating me. I was playing 200NL. We were on Team Viewer which was a program where he can view my screen from his computer, and we spoke through Skype. I don't use PT or HEM so we didn't do any reviews on that. He was on AIM to discuss about hands. He encouraged me to make a video but I never had the chance to get the software. I also sweated him once at my request.
I highly recommend you trying out this coach thing. It is totally worth the money. And hey - it is very unlikely you won't win what you paid him during the session since he's a profitable player.

i have a a block session with loltrickedu, and it only cost $250, he is a very gd coach and the price which he offers his coaching is fantastic, i was playing 25nl when he was coaching me, and he helped me open my game up, and taught me new line of how to extract the most money and how to pot control. if you are a struggling a play i would recomend you to steve, but if you are a winning player at the small stakes and dont want to go into you bankroll just wait until you are really struggling with a limit, then get some coaching. Loltrickedu also does a $50 session for your first session, so you can try it out for cheaper if you want to see how it goes.
I just want to say thanks for everything he has helped me with, i definatly think im a much better player now.

Default I've Pm'd him about a session

I have Pm'd him about a block session just to freshen my game up and get a new set of eyes on what I am doing.

I will write a full review when I am done..

loltrickedu has been out of town for a few days, I'm sure he'll get back to you when he returns.
