Villain is playing a 41/10/5.1 with a 24% cold call preflop. I decided to flat w/ A2s after c/o opened as he was a very poor player and I could play my hand very straight forward against him. By calling I also encourage a multiway pot for the blinds which I would rather have with a hand like A2s. Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com Hero (Button) ($100.50) SB ($100.50) BB ($131.65) UTG ($247.50) MP ($100) CO ($86) Preflop: Hero is Button with A , 2![]() 2 folds, CO bets $3, Hero calls $3, 1 fold, BB calls $2 Flop: ($9.50) 5 , 3 , 4 (3 players)BB bets $9.50, 1 fold, Hero? Ok, we flop a straight here. BB pots the flop into 3 players and it is now up to us. I think we have to raise here to protect against the draw or a flopped set, but if we do, are we calling a shove should he go OTT? |

Stack sizes make this kinda weird. I think a lot of this depends on your image. If you have a crazy image like me on these wet flops, a lot of villains value 3bet sets and overpairs with spades a lot. If this is the case, i call the OTT 3bet. If you have a good image, i think calling and playing any non spade non board pairing is best. Either way its a sick spot. FWIW i rarely think villains flop a flush and donks full pot. |
