Default To Stack off or Not? Hand 5

This is going to be the last in my series for today (maybe)

Villain is a pretty descent player and is playing a 26/20/2.3 with a 11 cold call. I've been trying to add in some sc's to my utg raising range for some balancing as people at this level are certainly starting to notice this kind of stuff.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($106.10)
SB ($193.10)
BB ($100.90)
Hero (UTG) ($109.95)
MP ($48)
CO ($101.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8, 9
Hero bets $3.50, 4 folds, BB calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.50) 10, 2, 8 (2 players)
BB bets $4, Hero calls $4

Turn: ($15.50) 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $15.50, BB raises to $38, Hero?

We have been cr after being led into on the flop and now we have hit our hand but there are a lot of draws here too.

Do you know anything about his leading game? I don't like your turn bet size. What hands did you think you could get value from with a PSB? 77?

If I think he's decent, I probably fold. If I think he's really good, then I like a shove.

As far as my psb, I am thinking I am getting value from hands like JJ, JT and with the draw there, didn't really like anything less.

Why do you like a shove vs a really good player and a fold vs a decent player?

Because a good handreader can figure out that you're very unlikely to have a hand that you want to felt when you don't raise his donk lead on the flop.

from all of those 5 hands, this is probably the only one I fold.
nice pfr, nice call on flop. but on the turn I still want to keep the pot small, I check. Of course, we made our hand, but it's not a hand we want to get it in.
This turn board is easy to C/R for him. a gutshot completed. he might does that with at. I don't know.
keep it small and se what river brings. I pretty much call every river bet. except when an ace shows up.

fold.

The way you played your hand has to look soooo weird to him xD The PSB looks so strange ^^

Hm, but I don't know, if that's enough for him to make a turn c/r-bluff. So I tend to fold, but keep in mind, that his bet-sizing and line does not necessarily indicate a very strong hand, if he's somewhat decent.
