Default Proper river decision

This is a hand that I just played and I'm unsure of what the correct river decision is here. Should I be shoving, check/calling or ck/folding? Villain is a pretty standard TAG so far. On the turn, I'm placing villain on AA, KK, QQ and possibly KQs. The A on the river kills us for 2 of his hands and he shouldn't be shoving KK, QQ especially once the A hits. Lost on this one.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

CO ($147.20)
Button ($98.50)
Hero (SB) ($316.10)
BB ($61.50)
UTG ($121.90)
MP ($100)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5, 5
UTG bets $3.50, 3 folds, Hero calls $3, 1 fold

Flop: ($8) J, 10, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, UTG calls $5

Turn: ($18) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $12, Hero raises to $40, UTG calls $28

River: ($98) A (2 players)

Hero???

I don't like the flop lead without some donking history, which you haven't mentioned. If you're going to lead, at least make it 7. I wouldn't agree with your assumption that he would flat a flop lead with QQ-AA and KQs and only those hands. I would expect those hands to raise a lot, and I would expect other hands to call. But if you really think that's his turn range, why not just check/shove? He's never folding any of those hands on the turn.

This is an area that I am working on. A shove on the turn just seems to me that it is never getting called just due to the mere size involved.

You comment that you don't like the donk lead. Could you explain what you mean a bit more?

I just think he will cbet this board a lot. And if you have no history of donk leading, he may just let you have it the first time you do it.

Have to agress with Given here on the donk-leading issue.
I think, it's fine to c/r and not shove, but I would tend to make it biiit bigger... like 43-47$ or so. (I would donk bet more as well). I think, if you never have c/shoved before, he might just fold with overpairs here.
On the river we have like 70$ left (~100$ pot)... Hm, I don't see how he could ever call a shove with a lot of hands we beat, if he is really that tight UTG. So I might just make a smallish bet in the range of 33$.
