Question folding KK preflop

apologies if this has been covered before - I am new to the forums. Question: 100NL vs tight agg solid player, raised with KK to $3.5, he raised to $12 - i re-raised to $28. I then pushed and he turned over aces. I am thinking that in the future I should fold this as it seems very rare that solid players push with QQ or Ak on FT in this spot. Especially as he did it all so quickly. I think folding here is probably correct at this level (100NL) but not at lower levels (pushing wider range), or higher levels (bluff shoving more often). Is it too nitish to fold and is my re-raise to 28 good enough to find out if a player will push his stack in without having to raise to 33 or 36 which if I am going to fold to a shove vs tight solid player saves me $8.

At 100nl on FT, I will get KK aipf for 100bb every single time. I see AK and QQ quite a lot shoving pre in this spot. Secondly, the 4bet to 28 is perfect as it allows you to also fold when 4betting light and forces your opponent to most likely fold or shove pre. Rarely will you get someone that flats, but it does happen. Raising to 33 or 36 is not needed and as Given has stated, you can't be bluffing by 4betting that much as you are pretty much pot committed to calling with anything at that point based on pot odds (assuming 100bb deep).

LOL. Way to not be results oriented.

I'm guessing you'd also be thinking you should fold this in the future if he had turned over AK?

Do you realise that even if you had KNOWN he is NEVER shoving anything less than KK, calling would have only cost you about 25 bucks in expectation?

If TAGs only 5bet shove KK and AA over your 4bets, you need to 4bet bluff a lot more.

But more than likely, the range that you are assigning for the 5bet shove is way too narrow.

... and try to fold KK pre vs durrrr in the right spots :P

One more thought:
What do you expect him to do /w AK, QQ, if you 4bet? Do you think, he'll only call? From my experience, ppl @ 100NL are pretty likely to ship it in
