Default QJs floats flop in BB vs SB open

Villian is a Descent Tag regular playing 20/16/7 overall with a 27% steal. I flat with QJs here as I have descent equity vs his opening range. He cbets 100% then shuts down afterwards. Thoughts on how I played this?

if he Cbets & then shuts down bricked boards, why are you calling the turn? I don't think he's barreling on that weak turn without a made hand

What exactly do you mean with shut down? Like "Never 2barrels" or "pot controls with semi-strong hands"?

I might overbet the river, cause his c/c on the turn indicates, that he wants to go to showdown... maybe something like AT.

I like your line but I bet bigger on the turn and river.

Also, I've held this in for as long as I can: "Descent" means "a downward step" or "decline." "Decent" means "fairly good."

LOL ghrammar nits ITT

anyway, as played on flop is fine (although I like a reraise more vs this guy) but after he check/calls turn he either has something like AJ/AQ with a diamond or he has some weak pair or even a ten that is trying to get to showdown so if youd want him to fold on that river you'd have to go with atleast potsize or an overbet.

Shut down meaning he doesn't 2 barrel without a hand. As the hand progressed, I had a feeling he hit the 8 but wanted to pot control it. I don't think AT is going to not fire the turn so I had a feeling that he had some showdown value when he called the turn but not strong enough to call the river. This is an area of my game that I am working on and is in development.
