Anyway, I don't know too much about villain, SuperDonkeyy. Without a ton of information, we would tend to classify him as a semi-nitty tag.

there was a dynamic going on between this villain and I. I think this was my 3rd 3 bet in 5 orbits against him (though it may have been only 4 orbits). All of my recent 3 bets were against him and he folded each time. Even though I could not classify him as a solid reg, I just thought that a high percentage of the time this is where these guys will start to play back (3rd 3 bet in very short period, in position). Maybe it's standard for me to call a 4 bet but I felt like I had pissed this guy off enough to 4 bet bluff. I also felt, while unlikely, players can randomly spew and call with like a pocket 9s. Haha- remember the 88s stacking off in the general forum that I posted. So maybe it's not completely unheard of for 88 to randomly spew call.

Plus, who wants to play a 4 bet pot OOP where the villain's range is wide open?

Are villains likely to play back with a bluff the third time that you 3 bet them like this in quick succession or more likely to wait until time #4?

Your description is confusing. You 3bet 3 times recently, or you 3bet this guy 3 times recently? If it's this villain, how did he respond? If they were all against this guy and he folded every time, then I think this is ok. But like I've said in one of your other threads, you need to get better reads on the regs. I don't think I've ever seen you post a hand where you had really solid reads on the villain.

Also, I have no clue what those pokerstoves have to do with anything.
