I think your play is fine. If guy was 3-betting a lot, I would probably 4-bet. I also don't mind raising the flop, but if you play mid-pps likes this, I think it's fine.

I think, I would raise that flop. If villain has something like TT, JJ he might be scared of a A, K, Q maybe even a 5 or 4 so it will get harder to get the money in.
Your line is fine as well of course - and yes, I think it's standart.

Not 4betting QQ in CO vs SB is far from standard imo... I don't hate it, but I'd rather do it with AA or KK, because there's less bad flops for them.

This doesn't make any sense to me. Only good reason to just call preflop IMO is if he is 3betting a lot and we think slowplaying QQ has more value. Why would we want him to fold when we have the nuts?

Nobody's ever gonna 3bet-fold JJ, AK or even TT in that spot, not even at NL100 nowadays.

---

If we assume his 3betting relatively tight, let's say only 9%, his range could be something like this:
TT+,55-22,AJs+,KQs,T8s+,97s+,87s,76s,AQo+

And if he's a nit and only getting it with 3% range:
JJ+,AKs,AKo

That means his folding 2/3 times and we still have 47.5% against his calling range. = We're making a lot of money by 3betting... Actually as long as his 3betting range is like that, we are profiting a lot regardless of his continuing range to our 4bet.

So, as I said, unless his 3betting absurdly high amount, I wouldn't flat QQ here. There's gonna be some flops with overcards and even if the flop is something like J86 it's not like we can just happily push the chips in the middle and expect to get called by worse.

FWIW, I folded JJ in the blinds a couple of times! It was when they snap-4bet strongly over my 3bet, and I had very very good reasons to beleive it's QQ+ or at unlikely least AK...
