congrats to your stack!

1st off: I don't feel ready to play deep. once I doubled up, I'm gonna leave and enter again for rush tables.

But once again, I shove this 100%. If he doesn't 3bet with trash, he will have an over pair 90% here.
AKc is possible, and 68 and 99s are very very rare here. (why should he raise this Allin here??)

For me this seems like a move to protect an overpair. Your c/r on flop fits great to a drawing hand. So he pushes, because there are actually some draws out there.

I have a feeling MX was oversetted by nines, but I do not think you can do anything other than fistpump-sticking in here

Yesterday lurked 2+2, one pooh-bah poster (claimed successful at rush) pointed that deepstacked play is a key to boost winrate in these games. Hasn't explained his thoughts, but I like it anyway

Deepstacked poker is going to be highly valuable here as it is quite common to build a stack quickly and find others doing the same. With the changing tables, you have an infinite number of people doubling up (hopefullly yourself included) which creates a very intersting dynamic. At my high point, I found myself with $1.2k on a table and was covered once which really made me uncomfortable

12BI stack! OMFG!

In short MX, I understand you are winning and enjoying these games? How many hands played by far? Any general strategy points to share with people?

I agree 100%. I just don't feel comfortable playing it. because its difficult to play. have a look at this thread title. mx would never think about folding here 100BB deep...
However, it sucks when you loose 200BB or more. I prefer until I'm rolled for the next level and then play for more money.

....hmmmm! but probably wanna trie 25NL rush at some point and build up a hugh stack

As of right now, I am winning and enjoying them. I'm playing very nitty (even moreso than my usual self) and looking to get stacks. I'm opening utg 22+, AJs+ AQo+. I'm flatting raises with pairs pretty much all the time. Really playing uber uber tight oop and it seems to really be helping me overall. I only have about 6k hands in with this and I'm up a little over 10 buyins.

A big development in this is that HEM now can export stats to the notes on FTP which is going to drastically change this game and I think the "rush" might soon be over. I really wanted to get a piece while it was still good. We'll see about that however.

You can rathole in rush games whenever you want...

I wouldn't want to increase variance (against unknowns) playing ultra-deep, so I'd probably rathole whenever I have 250bb or more. When you are readless about most of your opponents, I think playing over 200bb deep is just increasing your variance, not really winrate. You'll probably only miss like 2-3 hands by closing the table and rejoining.

What is your question exactly about this hand? Setmining is standard and you can't just flat that flop since there's tons of cards that are killing your action on later streets and ofc you also want to protect your hand.

I don't really think people would shove nut-fd here... But they certainly will shove 55, 99, 68 and compo draws... We can't fold against that range when it's "only" $160 to call. And unlike you say, he should pretty much push/fold in this spot with these stacksizes.

If he has a set, he doesn't really want to see any 6, 8 or club (and J wouldn't be that funny either) and if he has a straight, he doesn't really wanna see any of those cards (or board pairing) either as they could kill his action or give hero the best hand.

When he shoves, we're not really expecting to see overpairs, more like praying "please please please be 55" which he would btw flat most of the time preflop.
