More often than not, when someone says 3-bet, they are referring to the action of reraising a preflop raiser. Ex. Blinds 1-2, folds to CO who raises to $7. The button reraises to $24. That is a 3-bet. It doesn't make too much sense since it's only the 2nd bet, but I guess they count the blinds as being a first bet. |
