Default "An Action Script Error has occured"

I get an error message every time I change pages on this site. It isn't a "usual" error message and I have the choice to "dismiss all" which allows me to continue as normal. Though it gets annoying to see this sort of message every time the page changes:

TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.

at as3.Ticker::Ticker/onTickerComplete()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()

Do I need to update something? This isn't the only site it happens on, but it doesn't happen on most sites.

That's weird. I've never had that problem. What browser are you using? You might want to try a different DNS service like OpenDNS. I'm not a techie tho.

The errors are apparently coming from Adobe Flash Player 10. I don't know much about any of it, but I know I have the latest version of the flash player and I d/l'd it straight from the Adobe site. Is no one else getting these errors? Anyone know anything about this sorta shit?

I googled that error. It's really common and really vague. Basically Flash can't find something it needs (renamed or missing helper file, object property not defined, array element out of bounds etc). It's probably not a problem with Flash itself.

I couldn't recreate your problem on any of my browsers, but, after looking at web posts, here's some things you might try:
1. Update your browser. Get Firefox or Chrome if you don't have one of them already.
2. Check if your internet security keeps a list of safe web sites. (Norton does.) Add your web sites to the list.
3. Make sure cookies for the web sites are being stored.
4. Have you changed any directory names recently? Like 'Documents' to 'Dokumente'? That could cause the problem.

Otherwise, this is definitely more of a programmer problem than a user problem, and I suggest posting on a tech forum.

First - thank you for taking the time. Second - even though I had done the googling myself, for whatever reason (mostly I'm a moron), I had ignored the "change browser" suggestions and tried most of the others. Figuring the problem wouldn't be with IE, they'd surely correct such a problem rather quickly... blah blah blah. However, switching from IE to Firefox, at your suggestion, has fixed the problem - thanks again.
