Default Making a Video with Camtasia

Hey guys, I got Camtasia and made a video of 2NL on pokerstars, only problem is that the sample size is about a gig. I am wondering if I could make it smaller using the codecs/options in the video compression options. The only problem is that I could only get one of the options to work and its just a microsoft codec (The automatic option does not work for some reason). If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, I would like to upload the video for review.. I make a decent profit and play/run well and have some good advice. If you would like me to upload the video for this site just leave me a message in this thread.

Camtasia is capable of doing tons of shit that I've no clue about, I just know how I go about making poker video's. Some may know of better ways to do this, but here's what I do...

Open Camtasia,

under "Recent Projects" select your recording,

select "Produce video as...",

select "Custom Settings" and click "Next",

select "wmv" and click "Next",

make sure "Profiles" is set on "(Recommended)" as it should already be and click "Next",

select "Custom Size" select "Maintain Aspect Ratio" and set size to 640x480 - under "Full Size" make sure both boxes are checked and click "Next",

make sure nothing is checked on next page and click "Next",

again make sure nothing is checked and click "Next",

name your project on the top line - make sure "Organize produced files into sub folders" is checked (no idea what happens if it isn't, lol, I'm just relaying what I was told on this one) - make sure "Show production results" and "Play video after production" are both checked (these 2 aren't absolutely necessary, but it allows you to actually make sure the video came out correctly before you waste anymore time dealing with a bad video), then click "Finish".

The video should start rendering at that point, and it takes awhile, a few hours usually. But in the end, this should result in a huge .camrec file of a 60 minute video with audio compressing to about 90mb.

PS - if at any time you choose to "Edit" the video, which is always an option immediately after you stop recording, make sure you change the setting on the first pop up to "Change the video dimensions", rather than the preselected "Change the video dimensions and apply Smart Focus", you do not want to apply Smart Focus, and it will be preselected, you will need to change it.
