Default Trouble compressing videos

Hi I just recorded a video, but its over a gig in size. I tried converting it from avi to wmv using prism video converter, but it ended at the same size. I tried compressing it with another program and it worked but now the video is an inch by inch size with the companies name branded across it. Help please!

What program did you use to record it? If you still have the original recording, rendering it directly to WMV is probably a better option than converting from AVI.

So I tried something new and it was doing its thing. Was about 10 percent processing and it used up all of my hard drive space...my computer freaked out on me.

I've not used Camstudio, so I won't be able to help you with this one.

Anyone else on here use Camstudio?
