Default VIDEO DISCUSSION: Trikkur 38 - Quick 25NL Video at PokerStars

**THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF Trikkur 38 - Quick 25NL Video at PokerStars**

I didn't have a lot of time to make a video, but I wanted to get one up for everyone. This video is 25NL at PokerStars. I don't discuss anything specific, but just try to play a solid game. It's a good example of what most of your sessions will look like at micro stakes.

This video freezes about 15 minutes in for me. The sound continues but the picture stays fixed on the same frame. Looking forward to seeing the second half of it if it can be fixed/salvaged when you return from out of town.

Yeah, I think he forgot to resume the camtasia software or whatever he is using after his short break. Video is not recorded anymore after 15mins or so, just audio.

OK, I'll try to see what happened, but I don't actually know if I have the original anymore

Until I get home, I won't be able to check though.

As mentioned the vid ends right after you announce it to be 15 minutes longer, so it's pretty short overall. @ Billy: I didn't stop the time, but 25min seems a longshot guess. Its 16-17 at best.

A thing I absolutely don't like is that you sell this vid too much as a "Well, I don't have much time, but I will pull one fast thing off here, just because.".
The 3 poker related comments you do in this vid can't make up for the fact that you seem semi-focused at best, at least compared to your former work (although there always was a certain degree of advertisment talk in almost all of them, but if I got 40 minutes of serious poker, I don't mind at all).

I'm looking foreward to the time, there are again long, high-quality content mid-stakes videos.
Micro-Stakes "Pls find my leaks"-Vids and Absolut Cheater...errr....Absolute Poker advertisment isn't exactly the mind crushing stuff I joined this site for.

I understand that all this new website-stuff drained a lot of energy, but so far there wasn't much the new site offered that could top the 50 really good videos I got to see last year when I signed up (despite a better design, w/e). I will be patient and see where this leads to, but you talking about not enjoying poker that much anymore, throwing off 15 minutes off half-hearted micro-videos and not that much increase of non-beginner traffic here makes me worry about the furture of this all.

This maybe drift into offtopic, but before anyone misunderstands me here I want to point out, that I do nothing more than compare the stuff I got last year with the stuff I got this year. And while there may be a lot comming for the new site, all I can see until this point is far less convincing than pokertrikz.com's 2008 version.
I don't want you to take this personal, so I will put it this way: 20 beginners flooding this site with blogs and writing about their 5$ bad beats, 450 hands breakeven stretches and 5BI losses at NL2, + 10 new forums with low-content traffic can't make up for an 1 hour vid of you or loltrickedu playing 100NL+. I didn't see the latter for quite a while now, but tons of the other stuff.

Hint regarding Poker Stars: You don't have to click the number of the last hand history in the upper left corner anymore and scroll through all the hh to see your opponents holecards. The red dot to the right of the numbers is the replayer that shows you the cards a lot easier. In the video it seems like you don't know this maybe.

Default VIDEO DISCUSSION: Trikkur 38 - Broken 25NL Video at PokerStars

**THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF Trikkur 38 - Broken 25NL Video at PokerStars**

I started making a 25NL PokerStars video, but the video doesn't work past 15 minutes. There's not a lot of great info in here, but I'm not going to delete the video either.

solid good video, basic strategy to tackle 25NL when u're beating it or playing breakeven - I like that you've put out a new video, but i have to concur with mr_nutflush though.
Anyway's, i think there are a lot of ideas for new vids, and i surely do hope they come.
-The bankrollbuilding series seems great!
-a 100NL video on redstar would be great to see once again..

If you are looking for some higher quality vids, there are places like DC, GrinderSchool, Leggo, etc that you can pay for. At the end of the day, it is free, so you can't really complain much.
