I liked the video, it's been a while that we've seen some midstakes action, so that fact alone made the video a must-see for me Too bad not many "great, interesting" spots came up in the video, most of all, it seemed like a standard session.. Those will happen ofcourse I would be double barreling that turn(on the paired board against the guy who can't fold) anyways because the board was quite perfect 2 do so.. the guy is floating a super wide range there(him being a station and all) so i think he folds to a decent second barrel. With the AQ hand where you flop second pair against the 40vpip'r, i would definitely be barreling flop and turn and i might even check call the river.. He was playing super aggro etc.. Just my 2cents! Keep 'm coming, imo you could definitely be a pro at pokertrikz and join the likes of trikkur & loltrickedu..if you're interested in becoming one that is sander |

first and foremost, I like the explanation of the hud. thoughts: -personally i fold QJs utg, but your raise is reasonable. -K10 possible squeeze; I think squeezing is in some ways more about opportunities/spots than the hand you actually have. you could make a case for squeezing in that spot with atc being profitable. i guess the 37/30 who flatted from the CO could be a concern, especially since he'd have position on you, but I think I'd still make the play. -semi-interesting hand on the 88466 board. his line pretty much polarizes his range between air and nuts, esp. when he pots the river. I think he's turning a lot of his busted draws and counterfeighted pairs into bluffs, so your A high may be good, although I guess there's no need for a hero call. you said it was your std to double barrel and for good reason; it was a pretty good spot for it, even if the guy doesn't fold to many doubles. -I think your line w/ AQ against the very loose utg raiser is fine. it's likely a WA/WB situation on the flop and checking the flop back may get you value from weaker hands on later streets. there also aren't too many scare cards, esp. in a 3b pot. -You raise a limper bvb w/ Q10 and flop is Q22. I don't mind checking this back sometimes, hoping for him to try and bluff or to try and get some value on later streets. -In regards to your stats, as you said, SAMPLE SIZEEE Thanks for the vid, we look forward to seeing more in the future now that you've got the camtasia problems all worked out

KT looks like a very good squeezing opportunity. That spot is probably profitable with ATC and the fact that you have 2 broadways is a bonus that should lead to a squeeze. Besides, you weren't really too active on that table as I recall it. (could be wrong) The AQ against that splashy lagtard I think cbetting is good since he almost never has a king unless it's KJ/KT but there are some worse queens and tons of draws he could have. I probably just get it in against him on the flop. the A7 against that incredibly loose guy I think 2barreling will never get him off a better hand, so the only reason for that 2nd barrel is to get value from his draws which have a lot of outs against us, so I like your check. On the river, however, I would highly consider calling him since he is obviously incapable of valuebetting thin, so he either has a boat or he has nothing, like a missed draw or a counterfeited bottom pair. You played very solid overall. There weren't too many interesting spots, so maybe try making a longer video next time? |

Just finished watching... overall you played very well as I expected. It really is impossible to 4-table and make a video on AP if you're on all turbo tables.... I really hate those tables to begin with, but when trying to explain your thought process for each hand it becomes unbearable. You dealt with it pretty well, and it held my interest the entire time (kinda rare for videos these days). I wrote down interesting spots while I watched... Honestly I spent a lot of time nodding my head in agreement while watching, but those aren't always interesting spots so this is mostly stuff I didn't particularly like. ======== hate the 99 fold on super dry flop... (6 min) 6:45 folding to 3b standard, but a good example of why not to pot from btn AP does have pre-determined deal last I knew... like Stars, unlike FTP. tbl 2 - 12:00, QTs is an awesome hand to play 3-way even OOP. Guy who opened has super tight range which is good for you... terrible spot to 3bet, but good spot to flat. tbl 4 - totally called that hero-fold when you shoved. I kinda like a cib there since he's a fish and wont fold. 14:50 tbl 1, super standard 3bet for value. tbl 4 15 ~17mins... tabl 1 - 3bet was good, flop chk is good, turn bet is good but sizing sucked. Smaller bet (~1/2 pot or less) is just as good unless you're thinking he'll c/r bluff too often (I don't think you can assume that at this point). tbl 1 ~19mins --- agree, horrible flop to c/r, just give it to him. Well played. tbl 1 ~21mins -- I'd probably ship to Balognaboy's 4bet since he's crazy and would probably be willing to 4bet super light or as a bluff. Obviously a high-variance play, but it's got to be +EV considering how loose he's been. It would be a +EV shove against me if I were in his spot if I viewed you as a thinking opponent, and this guy plays looser than I do. tbl 2 - 22:30 -- probably picked a bad time to 3bet, although I did think you could have easily 3bet several times that you decided to fold. The problem of having the shorty in the BB is bigger in this spot than in the spots you folded imo. tbl 1 ~24mins -- great cbet w/KQ on ATXr.... tbl 4 - JTs hand... totally fine with completing or isoing.... thought it would be a good flop to stab at since you're not far behind much and it's tough for them to be super strong considering preflop action. tbl 3 ~27mins, good fold w/AQs.... guy is a nit and you're crushed. ================== You definitely ran well which explains your stats being looser than normal... but you definitely didn't do a single thing that I considered spewy. I don't like that you seem to abuse the bet-pot button preflop, but I'm a bet-size nit and it's not a big leak or anything.

You play a very simular style to me (although I legit play like 25/23) and I think you did a decent overall job with the video. No glaring errors, your 3bets were all fine to me. No real tough spots given the short video and just the way the cards came I guess. I'd watch another, but it's almost like watching myself as I found myself agreeing with your thought process in almost every spot in this vid (although I'm 3betting that KTs hand 100% time against that villain). |
