Default VIDEO DISCUSSION: Trikkur 39 - Bankroll Builder Series - Part 1

**THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF Trikkur 39 - Bankroll Builder Series - Part 1**

This is the first part of my series on how to build a bankroll. I deposited $500 and start playing at Aced Poker on the Merge Network. In this video, I talk about how you can start the same thing as me and get Aced Poker Rakeback and start grinding. I go over bankroll management guidlines for playing micro stakes. I also discuss the ability to always be morphing your game to your opponents play style and your own play style.

First off, thanks for making this video trikkur.

I had a question about one of the hands that occurred towards the beginning of the video. I streamed the video so I may have been a little fuzzy on the details, stacksizes etc.
One guy limps you isolate otb with AQ, a guy in the blinds calls and the limper calls. The flop is something like 833. You were thinking about possibly delay cbetting here, but I'm pretty sure you end up timing out. Do you think that cbetting here and double barreling some turn cards might be more profitable? What type of criteria are you looking for to go for a delayed cbet?

I think you can cbet the board if you want, but with 2 people in the pot, I think you'll get called a lot. I probably was going to opt to take a card off and see if I can make a nice hand, but if it would check around a 2nd time, I'd probably bet thinking people would just fold after checking twice. Plus I don't hate if they call me since I've got 6 outs and the liberty to bluff the river.

These kinds of videos are probably going to be the most boring, but will help a lot of people here. Playing this tight style is often too boring for the people who want to make the big bucks in a hurry, but teaching a solid approach with good bankroll management is so important.

Great video.

Good video.

I have a couple (or a ton) of questions about a particular hand.

5 minutes in you are dealt AQo in the SB on table 3, 5 handed. CO opens with 4bb and button calls. You choose to squeeze by raising it up to 17bb.

What are the reasons for raising preflop here? I'm guessing it's to take it down a certain amount of times preflop and to be able to bluff on a missed flop because you have the initiative (like I think you explained somewhere else).

What kinds of missed flops can we succesfully bluff? KXXr? JXXr? others? What range are we putting villain on? 55-QQ, broadway suited connectors and some suited aces?

And finally, how do we play on a Q high board?

I'm aware that calling here is pretty terrible, but I thought that the hand would be folded.

Oh, one more question: we are folding to a 4-bet preflop, right?

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I just watched this video and several of the other videos in this set.

I just wanted to send a big Thank You to Trikkur. I've read a lot so far, but was still losing. I think actually seeing someone PLAY though really helped. I had a pretty good night tonight and won 2 1/2 buy in's in about two hours, and man was I excited.
