**THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF tmiby 2 - tmiby - 10NL - back to ABC** This video was made to find my own leaks. I recently blew 15 Buyins @ this level. I might developed some leaks while tilting. Please let me know. I play pretty much ABC Poker. See me loosing against a shortstack, who hits a 2 outer! enjoy. View Video Please leave any comments or questions to the video creator below. |

Watching now 11:00: ABC entails folding the ATs here, but I like how you played it. 15:30: Don't like completing the 97o. 19:45: Sick hand with the AK. I'd probably just shove turn but your play is fine as well. Unlucky. Last edited by urbansprawler; 09-15-2009 at 09:22 PM. |

ok, here is my opinion... First, turn off the "chat" and put in "notes" mode. I sense you tilt a bit when ppl talk bad things about you, like in the "i read you like a book.."! Next, don't feel bad if you loose trips of kings to a full. You played well, just move on and keep playing your best. Again, tilting dosn't help you here. It's hard but try your best to keep focus. And your worst leak in my opinion. You're changing your game because you're losing. You became tighter and more timid, and that's because you're in a downswing. Keep this rule in your mind. "Change your game when you see a leak. Change your game when you're adapting to other oponent game. Don't change you're game because you fear lose more. In that case just go down a limit". Maybe you're problem is bankroll management too. Find what's making you more timid. Is it just the downswing? You did well when you fold your pair of 8's pre-flop against a limp-shove. Don't forget, "First study your oponent, then attack him." I hope this help you |

| Shoot first, ask questions later is what you should do. Neither of these expressions apply here, though; standard fold. Fold equity is worth a lot, though, so exploit your opponent until he/she gives you a reason not to.

I just watched the video & these other guys have made some of the points that I was going to make. Some things to think about... 1- you can try playing with the short stackers. Some of them can be bad players so that might more than offset the disadvantage that they present. Maybe try experimenting with it. 2- think about moving to a different seat at the table when short handed. Even if all players at the table are equivalent, you might want to move so that you will have position on new players that sit down. You can sit to the left of a couple of empty seats. Btw, I have played with that heartle$$ guy before- the one that was making the comments in chat. Sad for a regular to talk like he is psychic saying that he know you had the better hand. Of course you had the better hand, you raised. Last edited by Silverthunder; 09-16-2009 at 04:32 PM. |
