Hey everyone. I made a quick 20 minute video at PokerStars to wish everyone a happy holidays. Unfortunately it's a pretty boring session overall, but there were a few spots that I could of played differently that could create some good discussion. I had to keep my voice down while taping, so you might have to turn up your volume a little bit. I hope everyone enjoys the video and has a good New Years.

Short one indeed

Two hands I'll comment on:

1. TT early in the session:
1st, he opened 4BB what shifts his range towards 88+/AK/AQ.
On the flop I think you played standard what is fine. Turn lead is so transparent, but understandable - you have not too many options. Look my thread for very similar situation - http://www.pokertrikz.com/forums/mic...nings-1-a.html

By the river, I see you beat 99 and less likely but possible 8x. It's hard to play optimally here without losing quite often, especially if you want to get to SD. My best guess is to put another blocking bet of 1/4-1/3 of the pot and fold to a raise assuming he is very unlikely to turn hands you beat into a bluff. This is really thin, yet there is another reason for betting - you can push him off TT, but I think you should bet about halfpot to have a chance to achieve this.

2. 11:40 A5s OTB 3way
I won't cbet this flop - IMO not much you can force to fold, check behind to catch a flush draw. Their stacks so small so you will have time later to build the pot if you wish. And if the turn blanks you can make a delayed cbet if it checked to you again.
