Very nice, insightful vid, wish I could do that soul-owning calldowns somewhere in the future

I just don't like that shove pre with A9. Looked like he knew you will do that again and limped to induce lighter shoves from you

I am glad you liked it.

I would say that A9 is not even close as it is a 100% snap call if he shoves for 11bbs. Now if I had K5 or J9s, which are also shoves, I may consider just checking. To fold A9 in that spot I need a really really really sick read. Finally, if he can have AT, he can have KJ KQ A8 also, and lower pockets. My shove was nowhere a bluff and I am generally happy getting called.

In this case I understand your shove, might be stupid newb question - why is it worse to just check and see a flop?

Yes, I am, I've mentioned about it in the LC/NC threads and most of the regs know, and my blog/etc are the same, but I didn't want random trolls or posters to notice. I went and got self banned on 2+2 and decided to make a new account, and I notice there was a bit of a bias for my posts. Some people would support me randomly, or do what some called "fanboying" while others just flamed me for having short stacked, but on my new account the reaction I got was very different and the same strategy posts got attacked (and funnily enough the comments all changed when I posted with my other account in the same thread, everyone piled on to agree) and it annoyed me a lot, so I used this name for strategy posts and mostly stayed out of LC/NC type threads or personal stuff.

I just wanted to post strategy/videos and have them seen as they were, because it was getting a bit ridiculous and cliquey in my PoV, and I'd rather people not talk about this too much.

So, what did you think of the video?

Also for the accent... I try to develop a proper UK accent, but I am too Chinese for my own good.

Didn't watch all of it, only the beginning but thought it was pretty good.

I like your strategy posts but I always had a slight suspicion and you confirmed it.

I think he has very little FE on the flop, cause overcards call, almost all low cards that make a draw, Ax I guess is also ok to call with (BTW, what hands are foldable there from our PFR range?). So, donking just gives him initiative.

You said you expected him to barrel turned J giving you an easy call. I guess it's due to J is very unlikely to improve his hand, right? But if he had 9, I think it is correct for him to continue extracting value, right? When he checks, it looks stronger from what you say - either he hit it, or flopped monster and tries to induce a float-stab, makes sence?

On the river he puts you on high card or a 6x at best, you would have bet the 9 on the turn right? So, do you think his betsize is good at that point? I would have bet as small as possible to fold a weak 5 or higher draws, from my point of view big bet repping a J is not good cause it looks more like FE bet rather than value bet.

At last, if you were him, how could you play this hand (assume you called pre for some reason)?
