HU table 1, limp-call K8:
IMO his all-in range should be wider over your limp, comparing to when he calls your openshove.
Also, I noticed kind of a read on this Maxx guy: he opens 3x when he is ready to stick in by default, of cause this is for the late stage of a tourney...
BTW, this is what particularly tilting me in tourneys - playing the late HU stage against any kind of a donk... actually, the vomit spasms begin almost always, unless I win it with an immediate lucky all-in... HU table 2, AQs as PFR on 76T8 board facing a PSB donkbet:
IMO it's better to give it to him on the flop this time. You've raised his previous donkbet, and now he bets even more and the flop fits him better, and it costs too much for you to peel. I understand the call has merits, it's just too many alarming factors at once.
Well, congrats on winning this tourney, sadly it was a 4$ one...
If you haven't watched Nostalgica's HUSnG vids, and they are still available for download, maybe you should try them. Definitely will improve some spots in your HU game.
