drgenefish, do u play higher than 100nl ? i would also like more of ur vids if ur willing to do more. btw comment on 1 of ur vid where u called 4bet with 63s and got good flop and u reasoned that u call that to protect ur range and outplay him on the flop--u had roughly 60 and 60 in pot was there really space for him not to shove any flop and space for u to outplayhim with just 1psb behind u ? 1 more comment on other hand u opened cot off with ATs and got xxA dry board i think and another rag on turn and u put him on under pair which he prolly got and bet 20 into 50 on turn, dont u think u can get that value better if u check and bet the river ? he basicaly hs 2 outs and he may look u up on river if u convince him its a steal... obv villain dependant like always but still.. u a) pot control & wont be c/r out of ur hand b) may get more value if ur really ahead ? anyways more vids appreciated.gl. |

hey...don't remember the hands...you're right..doesn't make sense to "outplay" him with only one bet. forget if i called in position or what....sometimes i'll call out of position and shove any flop if i think i'm getting 3 bet light and hope for a fold??? rarely do that though. i like to do that with AK when i was going to go all in anyway...i feel like it gives me a little more fold equity since most hands miss the flop and also maybe a hand like 10-10 on a Q-J-4 flop will fold when i shove the flop but might call me preflop. i will do this if i am pot committed anyway...i.e. we both have 100 BB...2 limpers button raises to 6 BB i raise to 18 BB in small blind...i get 4 bet to 45 BB. I usually either shove or fold (if i think the player is very tight). but sometimes, i will just call the 45 then shove any flop (this will actually give me almost the right odds anyway to an underpair to the A or K.). this works better live i think. of course if i hit my hand, on the flop, i might not shove. but as for the hand, sounds like a bad call for hand 2, i almost never ever slowplay online. checking is fine if you want to slowplay but i double barrel a lot of flops when i raise preflop so no reason for me to slowplay. i did bet pretty small so it looks fishy...i was probably hoping to get bluff-raised??
