Full Tilt Poker Review

Full Tilt Poker opened its doors in 2004 and has since become one of the largest poker rooms on the internet. Full Tilt is compatible with Macintosh and Windows Computers, and is also AVAILABLE TO US PLAYERS. Full Tilt is backed by more than 40 of the most well respected professional poker players in the poker community and is the only place where you can watch Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, and Mike Matusow battle for pots in excess of $100,000 almost any night of the week! And if you're lucky you will catch Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson, Howard Lederer, or Clonie Gowen in one of the low buyin cash games or tournaments and be able to take a pot off of one of the world's best players!

Full Tilt Poker Room Review

Full Tilt Poker Ring Games:

The Full Tilt Poker cash games range in stakes from $10 buyin all the way up to $100,000 buyin. Full Tilt offers an instant hand history option which makes it fully compatible with poker software like Poker Tracker and PAHud. Full Tilt also offers lots of statistics for analyzing your play and note taking options making it very easy to mark and keep track of your favorite donkeys!

Full Tilt Poker Sit-N-Gos:

Full Tilt Poker also offers more tournaments and bigger guarantees than any other poker site around. Full Tilt is the home of the annual FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series) which last year paid more than $10,000,000 to its first place winners alone! Full Tilt has multitudes of satellites to live poker games like the WSOP and WPT championship. However, the regular tournaments and daily Sit-N-Gos (SNGs) are where the easiest money is. The Full Tilt Poker Single Table Tournaments range in buyin from $1 all the way up to $5000. Full Tilt also has a tournament leader board specifically for SNGs that pays 20x your normal buyin to the winner for each month.

Full Tilt Poker Tournaments:

The Sit-N-Gos are great for building a bankroll, but The Full Tilt Poker multitable tournaments might be the biggest attraction at the website offering you the chance to win enormous amounts of money while risking very little. Full Tilt offers tournaments with buyins to fit anyone's price range, starting with freerolls and $1 buyins, and going all the way up to $1000 (and even higher during the FTOPS). Full Tilt guarantees more than $5,000,000 in cash to their winners each and every week. And you don't have to be a big spender to play in these tournaments because Full Tilt has satellites running every hour allowing anyone to win entry into the biggest buyin tournaments on the internet!

Full Tilt Poker Traffic Section

Full Tilt Poker is the second largest poker room on the internet. Full Tilt has as many as 80,000 real money players online during peak hours with 10,000 of those being cash (ring-game) players and 70,000 of those players sitting in tournaments or Sit-N-Gos. These numbers are accurate as of November 2008 and Full Tilt continues to grow every day.

Full Tilt Poker Software Review

Full Tilt Poker Graphics:

The Full Tilt Poker Software is very clean and user friendly. It is intuitive to use and very well developed boasting excellent graphics, many features and options allowing players to view player statistics, and cool cartoon player characters each with their own unique emotions. The table graphics also have a good deal of versatility with several customization options. You can go with the standard table layout which has a number of background options and also allows you to choose your character's emotion and view the emotions of the other players. You can also save your favorite layouts and pick them anytime you want a change of scenery.

Full Tilt Poker Software Functionality:

The practical functionality of the software is also excellent. You can sort the poker lobby and easily find your favorite games. If you are a multi-tabler, Full Tilt allows you to play as many as 16 tables at once. The tables are resizable to fit your computer screen. Also, Full Tilt is fully compatible with Poker Tracker and allows you to 'data mine' when you aren't playing. This means that you will be able to collected hand histories even when you aren’t at the table! Full Tilt also allows you to take notes and mark players with a particular color so that you can easily separate the good players from the bad. You can also put players on a buddy list or use the search feature to follow around the bad players.

Full Tilt Poker Hand History:

One of the most attractive features of the Full Tilt Poker software is the last hand feature. This makes it extremely easy to look up to 50 hands ago and see how a hand was played. This is all done with actual graphics making it a breeze to see who held what hand. This is an invaluable tool for anyone looking to take advantage of their opponent’s tendencies.

Full Tilt Poker Bonus and Promotions

The Full Tilt Poker deposit bonus is one of the most competitive in the business with a staggering 100% up to $600! This is far and away the best of the big poker rooms out there.

Full Tilt offers freerolls every day of the week. They give away hundreds of dollars in free cash to freeroll players. The fields are smaller than PokerStars and the prizes are bigger making this an excellent choice for freeroll players.

The Full Tilt Poker Player Rewards program is one of the best in the business. You have the ability to buy poker books, DVDs and accessories; along with TVs, Video Cameras and even a Car. A recent addition is the ability to purchase CardRunners or a StoxPoker membership. Full Tilt will award 1 Full Tilt Point for every dollar in rake paid, including fractional points. You can also earn points playing in tournaments and Sit & Go’s. You will earn 7 points for every $1 in entry fees, with no limit to the number of points you can earn.

Games Offered

Full Tilt Poker has a very wide game selection including the recently added 5-Card Draw poker. You can also play for any amount of money ranging from the micro-limits of 5 and 10 cent blinds, all the way up to the "nosebleed stakes" $500 and $1000 blinds. These games can be played in the form of full ring, shorthanded, and heads up.

Level of Competition

The competition at Full Tilt Poker tournaments are fishier and easier to beat than many sites, but the cash games are going to be a bit tougher than other smaller sites. The Full Tilt SNGs and Tournaments are plenty fishy. Many of the players have virtually no understanding of stack to blind ratio or bubble play. Bubble play seems to be a particularly big weakness of the average Full Tilt player as many big stacks play very tight 4 handed on the bubble in 9 man SNGs and many medium stacks are very willing to call of their entire stacks on the bubble with marginal holdings like Ace-weak and KJ.

The cash games are no tougher than any other site with the exception of the low stakes no-limit cash tables. The players at the small stakes no-limit games are tighter and less willing to get deeply involved in hands without premium holdings. These games are very beatable with the right strategy (aggressive betting and tight all-in calling range) but there is easier money in the FTP Sit-N-Gos and Tournaments.

Full Tilt Poker is the second biggest website on the internet today. You can find plenty of action at any of the games. It’s nearly impossible to find action in the 7-Card stud games and HORSE games on small and medium sized websites, but it’s not difficult at all to find players in these games on Full Tilt. Full Tilt is compatible with Poker Tracker, offers a buddy list and player search feature, has resizeable tables, multitable options, lobby sorting, and statistics and note-taking options. Full Tilt is a very flexible website allowing you to easily customize it to your liking. The best part is the $600 signup bonus, and if you sign up with PokerTrikz, you will also receive 27% Full Tilt Poker Rakeback !
