HandHQ.com is a site for poker players who are familiar with tracking software such as Pokertracker or Holdem Manager, and are looking to purchase large quantities of Hand Histories for their preferred site. The poker sites that HandHQ.com offers hand histories for are Pokerstars, Full Tilt Poker, PartyPoker, Absolute, Ultimate Bet, iPoker, and OnGame. The hands are all recent (within the past month or week depending on how many hand’s you plan on purchasing) and you can purchase hundreds of thousands, or even millions datamined hand histories for the lower stakes games.
Overview
The site is simple and smooth with an intuitive and easy to use navigation. It is very easy to select the options for your limits and preferred game and be on your way to importing hundreds of thousands of hands on your opposition. HandHQ.com has millions of hands ranging from the micro stakes $5 NL, to the massive stakes, $10,000 NL. The site offers datamined hands on a range of games as well including PLO (Pot-Limit Omaha), No-Limit, Limit Holdem, and for a variety of game sizes including heads-up games, 6-max, and full ring games. The prices are very fair (especially for the lower stakes games), increasing slowly as you move up in stakes or in number of hands desired. For example, it will cost you $10 USD to purchase 200,000 Hands on FTP for $50 NL games, and it is only $22 more to get 1,000,000 hands at these stakes. If you play $200 NL however, it will cost you $14 USD for 200,000 hands, and $56 USD for 1,000,000 hand histories.
Payment Options
HandHQ accepts a number of payment options, they are as follows: Paypal, Moneybookers, Moneta.ru, and HandHQ credit.
Delivery
Your hand histories will be delivered to you via email, this can take up to an hour. The only annoying part about the process is importing the hands into your tracking software. This process took my computer about an hour for 200,000 hands (including database management / housekeeping).
Why Should I Buy Datamined Hands?
After importing 200,000 hands of $50 NL 6-max hand histories, I had as many as 3,000 hands on a single opponent (a multi-tabling regular) and several hundred hands on almost all of the regulars. This many hands allows you to use Pokertracker or Holdem Manager in ways you cannot if you don’t have tons of hands on your opponents. For example, with 1,500+ hands on your opponents you can use 4-bet statistics and turn and river betting statistics much more reliably; whereas with 150 hand histories on someone, he or she may have only 4-bet twice and seen the river 5 times during that period, making your 4-bet and river statistics obsolete.
Conclusion
If you’re a regular player and you are familiar with Pokertracker or Holdem Manager, then HandHQ.com is a site worth bookmarking. HandHQ.com makes it a snap to get mounds of valuable data on your opponents. This site can also allow you to move up in stakes without having to worry about starting from scratch on your opponents. And if you play on Pokerstars then HandHQ.com can offer you an even bigger edge on your opposition as Pokerstars does not currently allow datamining.
